What is this?

Picture your favourite Fairytale (or any fairytale really) and then try to think what would have happened to the girl if the prince never came because he was so busy running around after that other girl. Or maybe he did come, but they didn't actually like eachother, so they had to get divorced after only 2 years and they both turned into alcoholics and their daughter is actually the whole point of your picture? Or what if Hans forgot to cut down the beanstag when he came down?

You are not limited to the examples above - you can do anything you want to that princess or prince or hero or frog that you loved to hear about when you where a child.



Ps. If you know a song called "Fairytale gone bad" then that's all fine, but the contest isn't about the song, it's about a fairytale that has taken a different turn and your goal is to come up with that turn and show it to us!

Deadline and where to submit?

The contest starts today (August 1st) and ends the 15th of September, have your entry submitted to this folder by then: Contests > 2010 > Fairytale Gone Bad.

OBS: Only vector is allowed!

Prizes:

1st Prize: 1 year premium membeship + a deviantART print (max-prize 40$)
2nd Prize: 6 month premium membership + a deviantART print (max-prize 20$)
3rd Prize: Fella Plushie

SUM-UP:

- Make a vector of a fairytale that has gone completely bad.
